Advantges

 

 

  1. Dyed film produces the darkest effect, and it's non-reflective.

  2. This type of film does not block radio waves

  3. It reduces fading from sunlight.

  4. This film blocks unwanted glare from headlights and other bright lights.

  5. In general, this type of film is the most cost effective.

 

 

 

Disadvantages 

 

 

  1. Dyed film can end with an unattractive bubbled appearance.

  2. According to Tinteks, this option does not block as much heat as other products.

  3. This tipe of film can delaminate which means the layers can separate from one another.

  4. Over time, the UV rays of the sun can breack down the dye, causing it to turn from a deep black to a purple color.

Advantages

 

 

  1. It is very effective at blocking heat, since it reflects the heat before it enters youre home.

  2. It also blocks glare very efficiently.

  3. Metallized tinting film is extremely durable.

 

 

 

Disadvantages

 

 

  1. This type of film can interfere with radio signal

  2. Metalized film hase a very shiny appearance, due to the metal content.

  3. This type of film costs more than dyed option, since the metal makes it more expensive.

 

 

 

Hybrid  Film                         $5.00 sf. 

 

 

 

 

Advantages

 

 

  1. It blocks heat very effectively due to the reflective metal content.

  2. This film blocks glare and UV rays.

  3. Because of the metalized layer, most hybrid films reduce fading.

  4. The metalized layer increases the durability of the film.

  5. Because less metal is used, this film doesn't interfere with cell phones and radio signal.

  6. Less metal content meas that the film isn't as reflective, allowing it to provide the esthetic many people enjoy.

  7. It is less costly then metalized film.

 

 

Disadvantages

  2. Is a color stable.

  3. Cut heat up to a 57 %.

  4. No interfere with any type of signal.

Disadvantage

 

  1. This type of product is more costly than Hybrid film and metallic film.

Advantages

 

  1. This type of film is very effective at blacking heat,  even at light percentages of visibility (CLEAR).

  2. It blocks UV rays and light glare.

  3. It does not fade.

  4. It allows radio signal to pass throught it.

  5. Ceramic film isn't as reflective as metalized options.

 

 

Disadvantages

 

  1. Is not deep black

  2. The main disadvantage of ceramic film is that it can be very costly.
